Hmm...
As I just re-watched Batman Returns last night for its 25th anniversary... You'd better make it a slab of Alaskan salmon.

Now that I'm officially activated, may I have a Tom Collins, please? Or a glass of Bollinger, '61 if you have it.

Hmmm. I'm more partial to Vilmart or Pol Roger, but I think I have a few bottles of Bolly around.

Good evening, I'll take a rusty nail with Lagavulin 16, or whichever oldest Islay you have lying around. Let me give a little toast to Jaws, released on this day in 1975, the first and best of the modern Summer blockbusters. And a happy birthday to Martin Landau, who's 89 today.

The bar can accommodate that.
Kind of an all star day. Others with this birthday include Brian Wilson, John Goodman, John Mahoney, Nichole Kidman, and Olympia Dukakis. Best returns of the day to all!

John Mahoney, eh?
Let's just hope he saves his William Faulkner impression for when he gets home.

As I am neither a fan of alcohol nor a fan of coffee, perhaps I may request a bottle of IBC Root Beer? Second best brand behind Barq's. And perhaps some strudel with cream. Like the cream a couple of mice made into cheese after they fell into a bucket of cream. One of them drowned, while the other one struggled for a bit.

My condolences. How do you get through the day? Surely not Barq's root beer alone? lol

My condolences. How do you get through the day? Surely not Barq's root beer alone? lol Nope. I usually take one Root Beer a day for meal time. I do drink tons and tons of water, however.
I feel that all alcoholic beverages taste an awful lot like cough syrup. Which is enough to convince me that it's the alcohol that I am tasting and am incredibly sensitive to with all of these drinks as well as the medicine--which does have alcohol in it.
Coffee? Hate it. The only way to possibly enjoy it is to drown it with so much cream and sugar that whatever purpose there is to drinking it outside of the caffeine is completely lost. And yes, I am wholly aware that one is supposed to buy coffee and doughnuts for a Stake Out.
Speaking of steaks, a ribeye steak made medium-rare and properly seasoned is another great dish that Root Beer goes with. But since this is a lounge and not a fancy restaurant, then maybe I could take a glass of orange juice along with my doughnuts. Chocolate custard-filling are my favorite, though I'll take the Homer Simpson doughnut, regular chocolate, or even glazed doughnuts.

We are always pleased to stock the bar with favored beverages. Consider it done.
I have fond memories of A&W root beer and their little drive-up hot dog stands.
